Vacations needed...

Didn't know how much I would enjoy time off from work....should I say I miss it incase collegues read this? Nah!
So far all I've done is sleep late, play golf, watch tv and paint...and I've got 2.5 weeks more to do the same thing!
Anyway, "salvation" has been put on hold for a while...kinda got lost in this piece...more oils were added hints of blue in the characters and text. a backlight and yeah well check previous post for comparisson...take care I'm off to bed and I got laundry tomorrow...everything that can be washed is in need of washing... ;)

A few changes...

Looks like I'm having some luck uploading so I thought I'd show you where it's at just before I go off to bed...it's late...but hey!...I'm on vacation...sweeet-ah!

Computer error...

Not sure I can update pictures as much as I'd like right now. It seems that my home computer is on the fritz...explorer dies when uploading images...hmmm virus mabe???
Rest assure there is more work done to the paintings and I will try to post images as soon as I can...will try after I post this and we'll see if it worked...

No Regrets My Love

Started laying the foundation with acrylics. Some anatomical tweaks are needed but other than that a good start...

A Promise is a Promise...

Just a few more brushstrokes added making the rocks on either side darker. Unfortunately the camera pic isn't that great :(
The penciled art on the right is a little teaser of sorts...sketched onto canvas. Had an idea in my head of a girl dressed in some sort of polka dot outfit...it was supposed to be a dress but now it's leaning towards a bikini..."Polka Dot Assassin"...working title...bed time now

Johan, another collegue whose currently working at our Korean office. Guess he's your source to what's hot and what's not in korea...oh and he's a master at finding sexual jokes/inuendoes in the most unsexual situations...we need more people like him in the world ;)
Amelie, another collegue, who's site I was sure would be pictures of her interior design skills in her appartment...but apparently this girl's out and about alot, so you wanna see sweden from a girls point of view...this is where you should go...

Ride on...

Will be working some more on "Salvation lies within" tonight and maybe a little on a nother piece I started the other day...whew...2 pics in progress....not bad...not bad at all :)
but until I put some more progress pics of that/those up I thought I'd post a 20 min PhotoShop sketch I did today...

A few changes...

Like I said before, added the text and also took his knee away from being "part of the rocks"...
It's 1x1.5 meters large and I've used some acrylics and then mainly oils.

"Salvation"..new name...

Decided to start painting it last night and here's what I have so far...not bad, eh?
Actually got a bit further and wrote "salvation lies within!" at the top...

Pencils on canvas..."challenge"

After alot of penciling and somehow even more erasing, this is the start of a new painting. I'm not 100% sure yet but I like the idea and composition... hope you like it!

I've promised myself that the next one I do will have speed....

What's this all about?

Why start a blog? Simply because right here is where you'll find my works-in-progress, paintings, drawings, doodles, song lyrics, story ideas, occasional depth thoughts, photos and other things that I feel like sharing about me and my life.

To the left is an oilpainting I did a while back, I thought it seemed like a good a way as any to kickstart this blog.
