Sundag evening turned out to be great fun....
Started The Caine Comicbook (ok..it's just one page so far but still)
Not sure what to call it yet but "Caine" works for now and the rest we'll see at it evolves...

Gates of Hell

Here he is (Caine) at the Gates of Hell delivering a few souls, now you have a hint as to what the story might be about... :)

Like the composition of this sketch, with the upside down doorway into hell...might change the previous painting idea to be more like this...painting is still in pencil stage anyway...

Been watching a bunch of cartoons recently...The Batman (season 1-2), The Batman vs Dracula , Hellboy animated and Battle Angel Alita.
Speaking of battle Angel Alita, I've started re-reading all of the comicbooks...wow to the speed on those pages...when people use the phrase "the stuff jumps right off the page"...I think they meant those pages :)
Can't wait to see B.A.A. done by James Cameron in his new 3D technology...sweet!

Still an idea just growing in my head but narrowing down details, a first page script and another character sketch...white shirt and baggy jeans...jepp...added undershirt...hint of star tatoo on chest and desided on a bit more of a brooding look to his hair...cool?

Another quick sketch I did last night...20 min or so....
Trying to fugure out what he's gonna look like and what he'll be wearing...
like the idea of a white shirt and jeans...here he also has a robe/trench coat thing...
Not posting but the gun is now a 3x6 shooter in 1 (666) ..."the unholy trinity"...

Ok, quick entry here...
Did this 5 min sketch to show the plan for my next painting.
Hmmm, guy fighting people and he has a sword and a gun...neeever done that before ;)
But this time there's a reeeaaal cool story behind it which might turn out to be a comic of sorts...we'll see...need paper...pencils...and time ;)
